Thursday 27th of October 2011 saw RDB Concepts expand their partnership with ISI and become one of the first partners to be accepted on to the ISI’s Passport to Power Program. The program saw Andy Brown and co implement the p710 demo unit.
“ISI are a value added distributor specialising in supporting IBM reseller partners taking IBM System X, Power and Storage solutions to market. Part of the SDG organisation, our commitment to support our partners is at the core of everything we do.”
“ISI are delighted that RDB Concepts are the first successful partner to be accepted on to ISI’s Passport to Power program. The prospect of developing the Custodian database monitoring tools for AIX and supporting RDB to grow and IBM Power business is exactly what the Passport to Power program is designed to achieve.” – Andy Brown IBM Power Business and Technical Manager @ ISI
At RDB Concepts we plan to develop a range of Custodian*24 plugins for the power range. The demo box provided by ISI in conjunction with IBM will be used as the play area for the in house development team based here at the RDB Concepts HQ.
The IBM Power range has been developed to help companies produce a smarter planet and with that smarter businesses. Infrastructure and IT process are the core attributes of many businesses, with technology ever changing. CEO’s and CTO’s across the globe have seen the increased demand for quicker and high performance systems and IBM have responded with the Power hardware and software systems.
Integrating Custodian*24 to monitor the Power Range is the next step for us here at RDB Concepts, and also helps deliver end users with a vital solution for example slow performing hardware or software.
